Sometimes when I'm creating a collection, I sketch each design plan before I fabricate it. Other times, gems end up next to each other on my work bench, and suddenly an idea starts to take shape. I had many turquoise pieces and many dendritic agates, 'trees,' but I hadn't made any with both gems until I saw these beauties hanging out near each other. I decided to add in the emerald for some much needed green. The color scheme of turquoise, green, and golden browns has everything in one piece. The Turquoise & Trees totem necklace is a statement to behold. Starting with a gorgeous oval turquoise from the Hubei mine, next is a natural emerald, weighing in at over 5 carats! Finally, a gorgeous teardrop shape of dendritic agate with a natural scene of branches feathering across it, caps off the pendant. Three sterling castings of succulent plants are used to adorn these exquisite gems. Finished on a sterling cable chain with a lobster clasp. 18 inches in length
