A classic red glass and base metals Bedouin ring with a rectangular glass cabochon set in a plain bezel. This fatakh ring was thought to have protective powers for its wearer.

The glass cabochon is chipped near one edge and has scratches and the metal has a nice soft patina that comes with age.

Face measures 1.5 x 1.2 cm (5/8 x 1/2"). It is size 8 on my mandrel and weighs 9.5 g.
